I would love to know where it was shot because the location is beautiful. The acting in this film is decent and the cinematography works perfectly with this film. I’m curious to know why it took so long to release this film on digital and the other platforms. I’m not sure if I would consider this film more so a drama with a lot of suspense and maybe a twist of science fiction mixed it.

I’m also a horror movie fanatic, so it tastes a lot to impress me as far as horror movies go.
YELLOW BRICK ROADMOVIE TRIAL
I guess they are things to prevent them from discovering the truth behind the trial and never locating the trail’s end.Īs far as a horror movie goes, I personally didn’t find any of the film scary or creepy. I honestly didn’t see a connection with what the film crew does and what happens to them. It’s a slow burn at first (mostly it’s just them walking on a trail through the deep woods), but after a while craziness ensues. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but a lot of craziness happens on the trail with the film crew. It’s everything that happens on the trail that is very odd. That is certainly creepy and interesting.

I mean, I love the backstory of the townspeople who up and left everything to walk a trail for unknown reasons and never return. Look for it where ever movies are sold/rented. What is so special about this trail? Why do people follow it without any thought to food, water and shelter? Will they discover the truth behind the trail, and find the end of the “Yellow Brick Road?” Speaking of which, what is the connection to what happened to the film, Wizard of Oz? To find out the answers to all these questions, check out Yellow Brick Road. This turns out to be the worst mistake of their lives. The trail was made “classified” to prevent anyone else from following it.Įventually the town was repopulated, but the citizens have remained weary of the trail.Ī film crew learn the whereabouts of the trail and plan on walking it to film a documentary in hopes of discovering what really happened, and hopefully finding the end of the trail. The bodies that were found were either frozen due to the elements, or killed in horrific ways. Only 300 bodies were ever recovered, the remaining residents whereabouts is unknown. In 1940, the entire population of a small town (572 residents) walked up a trail with only the clothes they were wearing after watching the film Wizard of Oz. It was directed by Andy Mitton and Jesse Holland. Yellow Brick Road stars Cassidy Freeman, Laura Heisler, Clark Freeman, Lee Wilkof, Anessa Ramsey. Now available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital platforms, is the 2010 film, Yellow Brick Road.
